Handbrake cables.. are JDM cars different to UK??

So ive ordered a h brake cable for my bb4 and the company has messaged saying because my car is an import its differn to uk.. I can't see that myself..

if anyone can confirm they are the same would be a great help!

Sounds like crap to me, all the 4th gens were made in Japan. Only difference will be between post/pre facelift ludes, as the cable length was different.

Yup the cables from a 1993 car have different part number to 1996 car:

1993 - 47560-SS0-013 http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_ca ... k_03=22951

1996 - 47560-SS0-023 http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_ca ... k_03=23166

Yep on difference is cable length from the pre facelift to facelift When the sex blocker was removed.

Ahh that is what they meant, they got confused between import and uk when they meant pre face and face lift..

they now tell me that facelift cables are obsolete!!

Im sure it was ADL Blueprint that supplied the part for my facelift BB4...

I have a couple of facelift cables spare I think.
In case they're different one side to the other (don't think they are) which side are you looking for?

Yeah its blueprint who have stopped making them apparently..

im just after the drivers side cable @wurleycorner

This an issue on 5th gens? Mines booked in for a service tomorrow and I've asked my mate to check the handbrake as it either needs adjusting or simply replacing.
