Wheel fitment.

Post by ek9sid » Thu Dec 04, 2014 10:04 am

Hi again guys. I've got a question from one of my work colleagues. He's just got a set of wheels for a 5 gen (which he hasn't picked up yet) but he's not sure if they're going to fit. He, like me, has got a 1999 bb8 and the wheel specs are: 16" x 6.5J, offset of 55 and 5x114.3 with a centre bore of 64.

I would test them on mine but my car is at home and unable to move.

Thanks in advance :-)

He has just picked up a set of 5th gen wheels and he has a 5th gen himself. And you want to know if they fit?

He hasn't got it yet ratty.

Yes they should fit, according to this page http://www.carlsalter.com/honda-wheel-fitments.html offset is a little more narrow but it hopefully wont be a problem.

Ahh sorry...I worded that wrong. What I meant was he's picked up a set of wheels for his 5 gen which I don't think we're off a prelude and he wold like to know if they'd fit. I think his main concern would be the offset. He hasn't get his prelude yet which is why I'm asking :-)

They will fit. That is the spec of the OEM sawblades IIRC.
