ATR / EP3 Brake Disc Centre Bore?

Post by Darkam » Thu Oct 23, 2014 6:03 am

Here is a little question.

Got a BB9, 5 lugs swap from BB6. I want to use ATR calipers + carriers.
The thing is on discs specs.

EP3 : 300mm, 25mm thick, center hole is 64.1mm wide, like the Lude.
ATR : 300mm, 28mm thick, center hole is 70mm wide.

Is there any problem to have a wider center hole ? I mean, all the force will apply on the studs instead of the hub, no ?

Are there spigot rings that would fit?

The atr centre bore is the correct size for the lude, and the ctr needs to be machined out to fit the hub.

Also note the ctr disk will not fit the 5 stud hub as the external size of the hub face is larger than the interal recess in the disk.
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock
