tyre size for 6" MB6 wheels on 4g

Post by JEBB4 » Sat Jul 19, 2014 8:27 am

Ok, so I got me some MB6 wheels to try on my bb4,

The wheels are 6" wide and im woundering if 205 width tyres will look stupid?

Anyone seen many ludes on these wheels or run them personally? What size did you use?

I have seen an old thread with a red 4g on em but the tyres look a little small on it..

any help appreciated :D

I got these wheels chap. Come from factory with 195\55 tyres. Ive got 195/50 fitted to mine. Think 205 would be the limit tho ;)

Dont know if tyhey are the same wheels your talking about but im sure the 15" fan blade alloys i had came from off an MB6
pictured below - they were 15" alloys with 195/55 tyres - im fairly sure the 4th gen lude came from the factory with 15" wheels - tyre size recommended is 205/50/15's quite an expensive size tho :) One thing i did notice is that they sat back into the arch quite a bit at the back . Hope this helps.

Yeah those are the wheels @vanzep

the standard lude rims which im running at the moment are 6.5 inch wide and these are 6 inch which made me think they may look a little odd on a lude but they dont look bad on yours mate..

Think im guna try 205/50's on em..
hopefully fill the arches abit better. .

cheers all
