Strange Creaking Noise

Recently, my car has developed a somewhat annoying creaking noise.

Probably started a couple of months ago, generally when the car was cold and after a few minutes would go away. Recently though it would persist and not go away. In the last week I have stiffened the coilovers dampening and the noise is now much more noticable (and even more annoying!!).

Strange thing is......the noise is coming from INSIDE the car!!

Sounds to be coming from the bottom of the A pillar, so at first I thought it may have been the windscreen, but no amount of pressure on the inside of the screen would make it go away.

Can chassis/suspension noise travel to inside the car like this??

Here's a video from today....

I think every 4th gen I've had had that at some point.

These are the depths I had to go to to track it down...

Don't know, I'm still trying to figure out how to put it all back together to take it for a test drive ;-)

Sounds like it could be something, seems to happen on a vertical movement in the suspension so does tie in with that.
