Bb1 or bb4? Confused....

So me and mr Greeny always thought Bb4 was import and bb1 was UK.
@GreenyUK has a bb1 and I thought I had a bb4. However looking at the chassis code it says I have a bb1. Everything on the car though is jap ie stickers, manual and it's got the jap number plate surround, folding mirrors, H22a engine....
Little bit confused. Can someone enlighten me please.

jdm cars can be either bb1 or bb4

BB1 is 4ws VTEC (all regions)
BB4 is non 4WS VTEC (JDM only)

Ah.. Right I never knew that lol. So what is the difference. As Iike has been said I thought bb4 were jap bad bb1 uk, that was difference.

Just to confuse matters the car in the pictures has a JDM boot lid and a UKDM rear bumper!

Yes , The seat monster will munch you up one day when you least expect it!
Don't let the mismatch put you off though. Not many cars get through 20 odd years with the same bumpers. All UKDM and JDM panels are interchangeable.
