Ok guys, I'm sticking with the motegi 17" rims and on 215/45/17 tyres, I think there is mostly a consensus that this gives a good ride....right??
I want to lower the car but not sure by how much and or what springs to get..... The most important thing is this will be my daily drive so I need it to clear speed humps with relative ease.....
Any advice based you guys 1st hand experience will b appreciated.....?
1) what springs
2) how low
Thanks Luders..

You just want replacement springs on oem shocks, or complete damper units?
If the former, Eibach springs on oem shocks come highly recommended on here.

It is also worth remembering that 4th and 5th gen suspension is interchangeable, might help widen your search field a bit..

I'm gonna go springs only.... Cheers guys, Eibach sounds good to me..... What sort of lowering height should I be considering?

Pi springs are good as well. I have them fitted to my silver 4th gen. They lower about 40mm which is respectable and the ride was still comfortable. I imagine they're cheaper than Eibachs as well.

I've got H&R sport springs on my 5th and I love them! Closed up the gap between the wheels and arches with better handling to boot, without compromising the ride too much or at all. People have been in my car afterward and not noticed a difference in harshness and I still get over speed bumps easy. I would highly recommend them!

Apex are good, and very reasonably priced.

I was thinking 40mm might be too much of a drop? ? Will it not scrape the life on roads with gradients or speed humps?.
Which ones would be best for a 25/30 mm drop .?? And I'm guessing eBay is best place to source them ??
