Lude Generation

Word up boyos,

I've got a set of Accord TwinPots winging their way to me and will be getting a set of 300mm EP3 discs to fit on my EJ Civic (i've got the 4x114 MB6 hub setup, which is they same as the 4th gen ludes).

anyway, once the discs arrive i'll be getting them redrilled to 4x114 but here's my question:

the brake setup is a direct fit (Bucks420 & me did the twinpot EP3 300mm setup on his 4th gen) AND I know that the twinpot carriers are the part that space the caliper out to accept 300mm discs (rather than the caliper having physically different mounting points). that wasn't the question

BUT.....I'm not planning to fit the actual twinpot calipers immediately. Is there any known reason why I can't use the 300mm discs and bigger carriers on my current prelude calipers until i'm ready to switch the the TwinPots?

The only reason is that I'll be upgrading the 1" master cylinder & servo at some point aswell...when that's done the calipers will be changed at the same time.

You can yes, the accord type-s uses prelude calipers with the accord type-r carriers making them a 300mm single pot setup
