Tyre prices

Just so I don't get ripped of what would be the normal sort of money I would be looking at for 2 front tyres for standard 16" Honda wheels? Just noticed yesterday one of mine is cracking on the tyre wall.

Also just noticed something weird.

On my car I seem to have a mismatch of tyres.

On the front I have one Goodyear and one cheap brand and on the rear it's the same. Why would anyone do that?

That totally depends on what tyres they are. Budgets that I wouldn't ever consider fitting on my car can start off as cheap as £30-£40 each. Otherwise performance can be as expensive as £150+ each. For a daily and reliability I'd be considering £100 each recognised brand Premium tyres. You pretty much get what you pay for with tyres.

... Of course there are always bargains to be had if you shop around ;-)

Try LoveTyres - they seem to manage to undercut all the usual names!

They were only £30 each when I got them 2 months ago with free delivery. Still not a bad price now though.
