ATR Brake on OEM prelude discs!?

No.
As Carrisma says it won't work. Incompatable means it won't work.

You need the accord pad spring since the caliper is a different shape.

Sorry for the delay @Musashi. I can confirm that the Prelude pad springs do not fit in the ATR calipers. However, they are not essential anyway. I've been using the ATR calipers for nearly a year (think it was December last year) without pad springs and I've had no problems with them whatsoever. I think pad springs are designed to put extra pressure on the pads to stop then rattling / reduce squeal. But I haven't had this problem so it's not a priority for me getting them, especially at the stupid price that Honda want for them!

Top man! That was what I was wanting to know as I was sure you had not actually bought the ATR springs.

I may end up getting them, even it it does cost me £40-45 for the privilege,

as I'm sure keeping them locked in place allows the system to work as effectively as possible. Actually, I might just make my own springs by careful application of some paper clips and tin-foil...
