Already did, waiting for an answer, I'm thinking it might just be because the V1s lower it by 20mm less than the BRs, which might mean it stops it coming down and hitting an important 4WS component.

But on their website, the V1s are the only ones listed for ANY 89 prelude, not just the 4WS, which leads me to believe they either have it wrong, or the BRs on ebay are actually not for the mk3, but for the mk4 or 5.

There is no difference. My EX suspension went directly onto my 4WS.

RIGHT, HERE'S MY CONVO WITH BC:

> Hi, I'm looking to get some coilovers for my 1989 honda prelude with 4 wheel steering. Your website says only the V1 series will fit. Will the BR series therefore not fit my car?

What is the difference between the V1 and BR series that mean the V1 will fit whereas the BR doesn't?

Thanks,

Felix

Hi,

V1 Series spec:

http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/v1-series-coilovers

BR Series spec:

http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/br-series-coilovers

There is no BR Series kit for your car, it doesn't exist.

Regards, Bren

Thanks,

So what is this product here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BC-Coilovers- ... 2310b6d2ec

?

It doesn't appear on your site, is it therefore wrongly advertised on ebay and doesn't actually exist?

Thanks,

Felix

Hi,

Its a "V1 Series Coilover : Type VS", as described in the description. The title is wrong in that includes BR. The image is also wrong.

Regards, Bren

Thanks Bren, sorry for all the questions.

So the ONLY coilover system that will fit ANY 1989 prelude is the V1, the BRs are ONLY for 1992 onwards?

And that ebay item is actually just a set of V1s with the wrong picture?

Many thanks,

Felix

Yes yes and yes.

Regards, Bren

So those BC BRs on ebay are not actually BRs, they are V1s, they don't look like that, and they're £30 more than the identical set also available from ebay.

Kinda glad I asked haha.

I think this will change a few people's shopping lists :P
