I have the graphite Energy Suspension bushes in my 4G with Tein Basic coilovers. The ride is rock, not pleasant at all. Nice on a track but jobby on the road.

IMO if it is your daily driver I wouldn't polybush. Compared to OEM bushes it is uncomfortable over bumps and squeaky.

I would agree with this, I always said if I did it again I'd only do it on a track car. It's a good upgrade but not for a daily drive

Odd. From experience driving nitins car then mine. There was no change in harshness at all. We both have the same coilovers but I have stiffer rear spring rates. Quite a pleasent ride tbh. Razor sharp though and was a tad squeaky.

GREASE YOUR drokking BUSHES

and no squeaking

;)

Maintenance means pressure washing them all twice a year and packing in as much silicone grease as you can. Rubber is fire and forget for people who do not car mod and do their own maintenance or care. Poly is for people who want an edge and can care for a very specific kind of material.

Do not poly if you are not able/willing to keep them clean and salt free. Seriously adam, just get them swapped over as and when the MOT says they need replacing. Do them in pairs and dont worry.

Well after giving it some thought and speaking with Rich at PAW, I've decided to do it. The Lude is booked in at PAW on Wednesday 8th January for a full set of ES poly bushes. I'm slightly apprehensive but also very much looking forward to it. I'm slightly ashamed to admit that now I don't know what I'm looking forward to the most - Christmas day or collecting my poly bushed car from PAW in January.

Don't worry, you'll love it. As long as the rest of the suspension has been well maintained, I really don't think poly bushes are that big a deal in terms of 'harshness', I certainly only noticed the benefits. Wouldn't go back at all.

Mine have been on quite a while now and I have no squeaks/issues.
