Suspension Polybush Kits

Im still not convinced full polybush is much different to good condition OEM bushes.
There are more things in the chain that make a bigger difference.

but how many 20ish year old cars have good condition bushes and have you seen the cost of new oem bushes?! plus oem bushes are a PITA to fit!

whats the point of fitting coilovers etc if what they are attatched to flop around like a flaccid gentleman's sausage at a sex party?

Well I'm just going off this, over 1k to fit polybushes. Iv driven nitins S on same bc suspension as mine. Mine has OEM bushes. Difference wasn't night and day at all. Yes an improvement but not a 1k improvement. Stiffer spring rates and anti roll bar will be better spent if you didn't have 1k ay any one time.

buy a set of lower arms from a breaker and do the arms one at a time while refurbing and painting/powdercoating them wont cost £1000

exactly, mine cost me the price of the kit+shipping fitted! and it's totally diyable just takes alot of time/patience! my type s front arms took me an hour to get all the bushes out including the traction arms

i was thinking of getting the parts i need to polybush from a breaker and get my mate to powder coat it all for me then fit the new bushes, its not something i want to do right now as i will need to gather the parts first, i have a press i can use at the garage im based at so thats not an issue and neither is the labour time. Ratty i do take on board what you are saying and will also be doing the anti roll bars and purchase a decent suspension set up to go along with all this.
