The sound deadening behind the dash on the fire wall is very thick and weighs a fair amount if your guns do a proper job it's dash out really.. Not too bad on a 4g though to be honest..

Carpet weighs nothing. Front seats weigh a ton, take both those out instead.

should fix your cv joints,service it and do any other little jobs first before you put time and effort instead of stripping it to make it lighter :roll:

Well air con delete including behind the dash
Evap delete
Egr delete
Any engine bay gubbings
Spare tyre out and everything out of the boot.
Lighter alloys and aluminium wheel nuts
Full Stainless steel exhaust system
Lightweight flywheel
Lightweight ALU crank pulley
Non abs, srs model
No sunroof
Innovative traction member
Some racing seats as the standard ones are heavy as hell

Won't be removing sound deading myself, still want it to be a car.
