Rainsport 3 are a fantastic tyre but they have the worse wear rate of any tyre I have ever used. I don't even get half the wear compared to others.
My tyre fitter has agreed also and formed a complaint with continental. All his customers said same

I'm getting new tyres on the front of my van every 12 weeks at the moment on these or 7000 miles.

This is true, but they are a soft tyre, that is where all the grip comes from. I get around 12K miles from at set on my road car.

Or full tread (7mm) to about 3mm

Full tread to illegal. I get very even wear on the front and my rear runs excessive camber so I ruin the inside edge by 14k on the rear.
On my old van tyres I got 18k out of the front before the inside edge became illegal. The rears about 25k.

But for wet weather driving the rainsports are excellent. Certainly keep my 2.3 tone van in check when I hoon it about all the time.
