If you could, please make it so that when you tighten the nut on the rod (to hold the rod in place), it pushes the foot plate against the MC.

One of my other criticisms of the PUK brake stopper was that when you tightened the nut it pulled the foot plate away from the MC, this would have been avoided if the rod was the other way around ;)

Yes i see what you mean, the nut takes any play out of the threads and this pulls it away from the MC. No problem, i will bear that in mind. I have just aquired the metal (all be it for free) so just waiting on the welder. A few weeks the snap on guy told me.

A little. I have mocked a few ideas up but defo not weld on. Could cause i few issues welding it on permanantly. I haved toyed with the idea of getting one cnc'd but that will be expensive. Also toyed with the idea of getting each part laser/plasma cut but the angles mean a lot of different plate components. So i have come to the conclusion that measuring and cutting each piece, welding it up should do. I have to get the adjustment parts ordered but i will only be making a few as i think they will take a lot of hours to make. So all the paper ideas are done and (mostly) thrown in the bin . I have worked out that due to mounting positions each piece will be very complicated in relation to angles ect, to be able to make this a complete bolt on and adjust item. Will post pics soon. 8-) 8-)
