That looks like a home made polyfilling effort, where the polyfilling is now coming out at the front.

Nothing wrong with home polyfilling (PU sealant pumped into the air gaps in the mount), but the fact the front stuff is coming out will be a problem. Sort that and see how your juddering is after that I suggest.

Home filled bushes, not home made.
They will be the oem bushes inside but with the original holes filled inl/original rubber filled over - it's a very common thing to do.

As for replacements, you're a bit limited.
Oem ones are mega expensive new.
You could get another set of used ones from a breaker.
Or another set of used ones from a breaker and put the energy suspension inserts in (they're about £35 the pair of front and rear)
Or there are some aftermarket ones available; Hardrace (like oem, not as expensive but you have to order them from the states I think?) or Innovate (not like oem but also expensive). Not sure if that's the lot?

@Nitin_s1 had a full set of new innovate mounts available iirc?

I've phoned honda they don't know how to do it so my plan is

Do the 4ws reset with the safety pin method
Turn car off
Lock rear wheels with locking pin
Align back wheels
Then align front
Remove locking pin
And drive in straight lines every where :D

Does this sound right way too go guys ?

:? Their techs should have access to the Honda service manual that tells them exactly what to do?

Vtecmec that looks like a awesome idea.
I put the lude in diagnostic mode and 4ws light turns off so sensors are ok .
I'm beginning to think it's the engine mounts more and more now. Might steal the ones off my 2ltr lude to see if that helps and if it solves it get some good mounts

Where about do you live? If I were you I would see if you can buy a 4WS locking tool from Mart on this forum http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/prelude ... t1088.html

Then find a wheel alignment specialist, someone that all they do is just wheel alignments, or a performance garage who know what they are doing. It is a bit much to expect every mechanic out there to know about 4WS locking pins, let alone have one. But if you have your own one (advisable) you can go to a place that isn't run by monkeys (most Honda dealerships are include here too, bunch of monkeys that they are ).

The steering wheel should be bang straight, the car should feel planted, and the car should not wander or pull to one side. If ever my 5th gen is anything but this, I take it for a wheel alignment (but only after I check tyre pressures ).

It feels dangerous and not planted at all , my other lude feels solid up to 117 but this one I've done 70 at most and it feels like the wheels are no longer attached to the steering rack.
I live in sunny slough if you don't own a merc or 3 series no one knows what they doing .
I've asked mart if he got one waiting to hear back .
