Apart from bearings....what else could cause a rumble?

It's not just cheap tyres btw all brands can do it depending on tread patterns

worn rear suspension components or wheel bearings can cause this check see if there is any play when wheel is off the ground , rear tre's bottom arm bushes etc ..you may need a prybar to detect it ...
