Removing locking wheel nuts

i have a selection of heavy hammers including one that could probably take the wheel straight off

A good mechanic always has the right hammer for the job

avoid using the sledge hammer then

small lump hammer should do nicely

Two weeks after Mrs. Sailor suffered a flat tyre in the Lude, the local authority's maintenance programme sorted one out for me, too.
Mrs. Sailor had been helped a good Samaritan, but when I came to change the wheel, I found that the key for the security wheel nut was knackered:-

I was stranded, 3 miles from home. I nursed the car by driving at walking pace it for a few hundred metres at a time, occasionally trying to pump a couple of psi into it. The tyre stayed on the bead and didn't overheat - it was snafued anyway. I gave up when 1/2 a mile from home.

The nut's marked ADL F3114. Does anyone have anything like this? (I think it's an aftermarket part, or possible Peugeot.)

These are the exact same kind as on my Prelude (for which I've lost the key). They're OEM Honda.

Can you not get it on its side and hammer the bruised bit back in to shape, maybe this would also correct the skewed nobble. It might just give you enough to get the nuts off before you throw the whole bunch in the bin?

U should be able to go to Honda and get new one but they will want an arm and a leg! U should also be able to fix flat on car if u can see where hole is !
