The ATR setup is fantastic for the track. They even just fit under the OE 16inch 5th gen wheels (not the sawblade ones, the left/right handed ones). Not cheap or easy to get hold of though.
Otherwise, decent discs/pads all round, along with a bleed and make sure the rears are not seized is a good way to ensure brakes feel good. One thing i often find on cars with bad brakes is that the pads have been absolutely rammed into the carrier, and have no free movement at all. Same on the rears - they can affect the feel of the fronts aswell, and make sure the handbrake has been tightened.

So ive found a braker and he wants £170 for the ATR callipers and carriers!
Will have to get discs and pads next month though!
Based on what you have all said i will go for standard discs and pads all round to be fair, i only drive it on the roads and dont plan on taking it on track!

I’ve seem go for up to £250. Cheap ones are either because there knackered or seller doesn’t know what the have. Carriers alone are worth the £50.Aaron14P wrote:Sounds like he's mugging me offnitin_s1 wrote:That's not too badAaron14P wrote:So ive found a braker and he wants £170 for the ATR callipers and carriers!![]()

If you are sticking with standard size 282mm discs then you re-use the standard prelude carriers and it all fits under standard lude wheels.Aaron14P wrote:

If you want the the atr carriers and atr pads, than you need to go up to 300mm discs.
