4ws ecu repair what needs looking at

Am I missing something? If this was just used for an alignment, won't it work thereabouts? I get that using it to lock the 4ws while driving is a terrible idea but still.

It was used to permanently lock the rear whilst driving.

my problem was when i got the car the 4ws was not working not even the dash light coming on , someone had removed the bulb from the dash taken out any fuses to do with the 4ws and fitted the locking pin when all the 4ws needed was a few joints in the ecu resoldering to fix the fault , so someone had gone to more trouble to bodge around the fault than was needed to fix it

Oh I get that but for a redneck locking pin (despite how it was used). It seems like it would work.

Have you plugged the locking pin hole in the rack?

Nice ingenuity on whoever made that pin though...

yep all plugged up with a proper bung

think the plug is made from a glow plug
