As said by Pm this is common for bc covers. You will need to take them off and take them apart and see what's what's.
Also Delphi drop links can sometimes make noise too.

Did you get the car tracked (alignment)?
Really needs to go on ramps taking the weight off the wheels and start pulling and pushing things.

Yeah, I meant a wheel alignment and toe adjustment.

Also das the whole suspension has been apart, did you torque everything back up to spec?

From what Pete and Ratty are saying though it sounds like it's the shocks themselves :(

Was this common knowledge before now? It's the first I've heard of it, but surely something like this information should be out there for all considering BC coilovers to read! :|

I must admit I thought I had read someone say they had this problem with BC's on their Lude before, too... (can't remember who it was though :( )

The bc design is similar across allot of cars. The Forrester guys have the same problem and some evos.
I think it's somewhere at the top of the shock.

Maz at Hond-r had the similar issue if I remember him telling me over the phone.

I asked Rich @ PAW about it last time I was there, he advised it's common.

Same. No knocking on mine.
If they start I'm moving to the meisters.

Not sure if this guy bought a brand new set or not but the ones I checked were brand new with the problem so I'm guessing you either will or won't get the problem. Or have you heard it just develops over time too?
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock
