Brake Lamp warning light on dash

further update 
warning lamp came back on so couldnt be brake fluid level related as i first thought
solution was - bought two new stop lamp bulbs and fitted them and no issue since.
the stop lamp bulbs are dual filament and i noticed that the old bulbs that although they worked fine they had some signs of burn out at the base of the smaller filament so just looks like theyve been in there a while and needed changed
