Should be yeah, once on the car the weight does most of the work there anyway.

shocks normally have an allen keyway in the top so you can stop it from spinning when your tightening the nut as a nyloc wont spin freely it isnt designed to so will be just as hard to tighten if not worse

Ok guys, so I got the fronts on no problem! But the rear shocks aren't coming out, I can't get enough room to get the strut out, I can't get the lower control arm low enough? Any ideas? Haha

strap round the lca to form a loop short of the ground and then step in it and push it down with you foot - leaves both hands free :)

I don't have a strap  I've used my breaker bar to get as much leverage as possible on the lca and it's still not fitting between the lca and hub!!

Found an old alternator belt and it still didn't work. It's literally bottomed out and the strut just won't make it

If it was too tight, I used to undo the top of the wishbone inside the boot/behind the rear seat to give me more movement.

Thank you for all your help! Finally have it finished, I undid the wishbone to give me more movement and it worked! Just took a bit longer than intended! Once again thank you all! She looks lovely! Just the right amount of drop :D
