No need for a press for the rears, they come as a complete unit and only require one big nut to get it off (once you have the brake disc off).

Keep in mind you *might* need a bearing-puller though. I managed to pull the back right-hub off very easily but the back-left wouldn't budge despite some gentle persuasion with the business end of a club hammer...

You're right there are - but you didn't make it look very easy!

Also, where do you get that Bilt Hamber Detox stuff from? I have a set of calipers that need a refurb.

Can't remember the guide I looked at but replacing the rear bearing hub is VERY easy, just as long as it comes off properly. I cleaned a lot of the rust off the metal shield behind it then gave it a lick of pain when I did mine but the hub replacement itself can be done in about half an hour, unless you have problems pulling it off.

I bought 1-litre of Deox-C and 1-litre of Deox Gel from Opie Oils on eBay for £13 each just a few weeks ago.

Cool, so just take the calipers apart and dump them in a bucket of that stuff overnight?

Personally I would remove the pistons and seals, then replace the seals afterwards, preferably with new ones.

These substances might say they are safe for most rubbers but it is likely going to dry them out and the lubricant on them as well so not worth the risk leaving the seals in, especially not where brakes are concerned.
