Hey my 3rd gen has just started making a odd noise coming from the drivers side when i brake sharp or go up drive ways ect it's making a odd spring popping noise but i can't see any cracks on the spring or anything that seems to be out of place any ideas what it would be ?

Have you just looked whole the car has been sat on the deck, or have you had the car in the air, so the wheel is hanging nice and low and you get an unobstructed view of it all/can prod and poke about?
Broken springs can be difficult to spot.
