Ive done a fair few track days and tried a fair few different semi-slicks. On a prelude i found the Yoko A048's in a medium compound to be best. 215 width on a 16" rim

i think so
guessing here but the less fuel efficient means a stickier compound so more rolling resistance and the higher the letter rating like G on the toyos - there will be more to it than that and there are far better tyres out there for track but at a far higher price. im just trying to get the best bang for the buck performance wise for <£50 a corner
