8J et30 on a 4th gen

Post by Jack » Fri Feb 26, 2016 5:04 pm

I'm in the middle of ATR engine and box swapping my BB1. Also fitting the 5 stud hubs from a 5th gen VTi that I broke recently.

I'm in talks about buying some R32 GTR wheels, always wanted a set and I think they'd look ace on my Prelude. They're 8J and the offset is 30. I don't mind persuading the arches to fit over them (they're rusty anyway), but are they likely to stick out much? They're 16".

If anyone has any pics of a 4th gen on these wheels I'd appreciate it, can't find any to see how it'd look!

What tyre size will you run?
The rear bumper tab will need cutting way back and arches rolled just to be safe but they might fit without rolling if using something like a 215/45/16.

Probably a 215/45/16 like you say or similar.
