Help please, caliper clips needed.

Post by gb-lude » Mon Dec 07, 2015 8:19 pm

Hi guys..

During another test.runningin-run i suddenly hear a horrible screetching noise coming from my RH front wheel.
After a quick instection I found the clip/spring/bracket that sits inside the brake caliper above the brakepads was bent and folding itself between my disc an the caliper.

I know the problem and the sollution but just can't find it anywhere.

Here is the catch, I'm using Legend two piston calipers.. Don't know what year exactly but I think its 91-92 V6 .

The part number on the caliper is THE SAME as the single piston Prelude caliper. 17CL15VN but the clips dont fit.

see pictures below.
first the prelude caliper with the clip fitted in the middle slot.
Then my Legend caliper and last the bracket I think I need.

Can someone please tell me where to get a set?

Many thanks in advance.

Go to Honda. These should be supplied with genuine new pads. They may have a spares bin.

They're the same as atr ones if that helps. I remember someone was looking for some before...possibly Nafe. But with no/little luck.

I'm also on the hunt as the ones in my calipers are a bit twisted
