Whistles?

Post by Sims_lude » Tue Jan 27, 2015 11:26 am

Edit [Merlin] - split from this topic http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/chassis ... 14963.html

Hi guys am new to the forum and new to owning my gen4 lude. Talking of whistles I get one when I accelerate low down, once she picks up it seems to go away or I can't hear it anymore! Any ideas would be much appreciated.

It seems to be more light acceleration if I give it some toe it seems to go away but then again I may not be able to hear it over the engine and pipe noise it defenatley is when I'm lower in the Rev range though 2 3 thousand mark. I took her out for an hour last night and it seems to be getting louder/worse.

Possibly silly question, but does it only do it when the stereo/amp is on?

Also, does it have an induction kit. I used to experience a similar noise with the AEM v2 fittest to my lude.

Hi guys sorry it's been a while works been busy! And as I live just around the corner I walk which means I haven't been out in the car for a while. I went for a drive this morning and it's seems to sound more like a squeaky belt and it happens on acceleration and as I lift off. As I'm no mechanic I'm gona take her to a garage soon any suggestions for a good honda specialist in the south kent canterbury area? As always any help would be much appreciated.
