4th Gen Steering Wheel Replacement

Post by prahunt » Sun Nov 23, 2014 12:57 pm

I'm looking at getting a tasty OMP steering wheel for Christmas.
Just wondering what hubs people use for their 4G's?

OMP do not do one for the Prelude, but do for the Accord. Which I now are similar in some respects.
What has everyone else used.

Also anyone done a how to guide? Thinking of the horn and airbag.
Will it throw up a earning light/issue with MOT?

It depends if it has air bag and weather it's a facelift or not I think and if it has 4ws. Others will be along to confirm. I got my hub off @Nafemannathan maybe he could help there. I got mine to fit real nice but needed to add washers to bring it forward a bit to tighten up safely. As for a light, yes it will if you have airbag. I had both air bag and 4ws but I removed it all so it will pass MOT.

Oh and the horn circuit is integrated into the air bag circuit. Can either make a reel with wire to use horn in centre of wheel or rig up a separate button on dash.
