brake hose fixings

Post by Bludge » Fri Apr 11, 2014 8:18 am

some of the fixings on my braided lines i have just installed are shot, the one in the middle is fine on both, but the other 2 are a bit dodgy, and on one side one of the is completely gone.

Here is a pic for reference:

will it fail the mot if these arent in place? as i dont see any way you can change them.
even if it wont i would prefer to have them secured, so i was wondering if there is some sort of universal clips about? like ones where you can bolt it to the mounting point and then have some sort of jubilee clip attached to secure the hose.

Anyone know of anything like that?

As long as the pipe is secure to the mounting point and not fouling anywhere it will pass. Cable ties are your friend.
