4gen balljoints
Hi guys. I need an advice please.
My current spec is:
Tein super street (max hard)
fully polibushed (red prothane bushes)
SPC +1.5 degree top balljoints
unknown lower balljoints
UltraRacing rollbar
Tanabe upper and lower strut bars
5 lugs conversion
Enkei TMW 16" rims
Twice a year I have to change rear lower balljoints. I've already tryied some ebay stuff as well as something bought from local shop. And again I can hear noises from suspension. It's not confirmed yet but I believe I will have to change bloody balljoints again.
Any recommendation please. So far I spend more £££ for labor then parts and I don't wanna come back to this after another six mths.

not trying to be funny but are you not best getting Honda OEM balljoints? Ive not seen anything thats is better quality than them.

Honda TSB 99-039: Honda TSB for front lower ball joints for Preludes. This TSB was released along with a ball joint "kit" that includes two ball joints along with two axle nuts and a few cotter pins. This "kit" is very COST EFFECTIVE.
Part number: 04510-SL5-000
I bought the kit from USA, compatible with 4th and 5th generation. Didn`t put it yet though. I`m also with Tein SS, hardest setting.

I bought them from an USA dealer:
http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/oem- ... 10-SL5-000
This is a set of 2, you need 2 sets- 1 front and 1 rear.
I have bought parts for over $4000 from them, so they are reliable.
The catch is that you have to ship your order to an USA address, a friend for example, who will forward it to your address.

The rear lower balljoints SHOULD be the same as the front assuming the arms etc are OEM. Just buy a set of front lowers from Honda for a 4G and you'll be golden.

The front and the rear lower ball joints are the same, and they are interchangable between 4 and 5 gen.!
The upper front and rear ball joints are the same also on the 4 gen., interchangeable with the rear upper ball joints of the 5 gen. The front upper ball joints of the 5 gen. are different from the above, and also between ATTS and non-ATTS equipped cars.
