so i changed the front sensor with a new one from a "perfectly working 5G 4WS" as told by the seller, and after 10m driving... orange light again ; tried multiple time and no changes. i think imma give up on this...

and still can't find the horn's relay command... looked for it on a '99 2.0 'Lude but it's not done the same way (the relay isn't at the same place)... next f*cked up sh*t like this and imma switch back to a good ol' Camaro !!! :evil:

Have you tested the sensor with a multimeter to confirm the new one's good?

Is it possible you damaged the sensor/cable while fitting?

It could also be the loom to the sensor plug, rather than the plug.

What is it you're looking for on the horn exactly?

no, i haven't tested it. what should i measure ? what should be the results ?
i took care of not harming the wires. the 4WS works for a couple seconds and then there's the light, but it's not 0% effective...
what is the loom ?

i'm looking for the path the horn relay's command wire takes. it has been cut under the battery.

:facepalm: sorry, I wasn't thinking right - I thought we were talking ABS sensors but we're not, we're talking 4WS...

Pages 23-159 - 23-163 of the 5th gen service manual describes the circuit and component locations (swap to opposite side of the car for RHD). You're looking for a Blue/Red wire or a White/Yellow depending on whether you're looking before/after the connector in the engine bay.

Page 23-20 shows the wiring loom run.
It will run out of the A pillar on the drivers side, along the outside of the inner wheel arch (behind the outer wing and above the front arch liner) and then back in the front of the engine bay somewhere around the battery area and across the front cross member. You'll be able to get at the loom by removing the wheel arch liner or taking out the front headlight (depending how much of it you need to access).

Here are some pics from a naked 4th gen showing the wiring run, basically the same as you'll have on a 5th gen;

well, the good thing is, you're right ; i did find the wires here. actually it's behind the right panel, RHD too.

the less-good-thing is, there are two of each color ! one goes up to the relay, the other is just cut. what is their purpose ?
