bit late in the day to say something but mine had same felling when i first got herand put it down to 4WS but it wasn't ;)
my rear drop links were shot causing body roll and the top shock mounts were lose and the shock knock was terrible.
Josefsan does heavyduty drop links and the shock top mounts were just 3 large thick washers either side and torqued up tight ;)

worth a look if you haven't already :)

Broken droplink is a common phenomenon & would create an unpleasant instability.

sadly the lude was left to one side since may last year, bought myself a toyota soarer and did more work on the civic, so now I come back to the lude and will take a look at the bushes and links. Will hopefully have a more pleasant update soon lol

Just to chuck in my 2p, i changed to 2ws a few months back after an accident and months of intermittant 4ws. i LOVED the 4ws when it was working right, and to be honest im gutted its gone, but with the problems i was having anyway and the damage after the crash, 2ws was the sensible option.

Also my alignment was really out when i put all the 2ws stuff on, and every time i hit a pothole with the rear wheels it felt like the back of the car was being pulled one way or another. it was like driving a shopping trolley. bad alignment can make the car feel almost undriveable.

Check everything you can for free first then take it for a proper 4ws alignment. Might be worth asking your local honda dealer if they can recommend somewhere to do it for you if you cant find somewhere with a good rep.
