Which rear drop link?...

Post by NafemanNathan » Wed Feb 15, 2012 2:17 pm

Are any of the rear drop links on ebay any good? Or have you bought else where for similar or better prices? I need two and do want at least OE quality (For my daily)...

I have the choice of these on ebay...

Cheapest for 2, but no mention of quality. £29.90 for 2...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-PRELUDE ... 45f0b95b52

Only other set of 2. 20k miles/1 yr warranty, but doesn't state OE quality, just "high". £32.00 for 2...

Best looking, but don't know the quality. Are they actually Bilstein? £39.98 for 2...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-REAR-STAIBL ... 4cf2b1619f

The most expensive, but the only one to state OE quality. £52.00 for 2...

I decided to go to Honda for mine in the end - wasn't too expensive I don't think, and if they last the same time the first ones did I'll be chuffed :D

The most expensive and the cheapest that you linked use the same picture in the advert!

I suspect they are all made in the same factory. I have a similar set sat in my garage ready to fit, though I'm not sure they will be up for the job to be honest as they are a different (cheaper) design to OEM.

Cheers guys. Yeah I realise a lot of them will no doubt end up being the same, or they just use a universal picture. I've taken Ammo's advise and simply went for MotorFactors. They're usually my first choice anyway, but just thought I'd ask. They'll be in tomorrow morning as well, costing £35.83 for the pair, and are OE quality or better from Japan.
