Spotted this on eBay.

Nathan, I'm sure you'll agree with me, that this is the wrong engine? It's an '86, with the old style dials. That's definitely had an engine swap or fuel injection conversion at some point I'd say. Nice tidy interior though, and a manual too :D

Could be a B20 engine? They were pretty decent, I seem to remember.

Nah, that's an A20A engine, same as Nathan and I have in our Aerodecks, but the fuel injection was only introduced in 1988, and that has the early model reservoirs in the engine bay, not the fuel injection ones.

That car should be running on a carb, but even as a manual, that's still a nice piece of kit :D

Saw this one the other day along with a second that sold for £320 (This one didn't make the reserve and was on £485! ) Both looked to be riddled with rust :?

Wouldn't be surprised if it's had a swap... They're great engines ;-)

Oh yea, though I am looking forwards to getting the carb conversion done on mine. My mate found a Weber 38 that I need to rebuild which will go straight onto the carb manifold :D

Just noticed the rear end has been debadged too, it looks too slabby without the Accord Aerodeck sticker on the rear!

Yeah they definitely need the rear sticker. They look naked without it.
