Great Mishimoto Prices...

That are too good to be true

A number of these guy's items are listed as being located in Worchestershire, Uk. I've selected just Prelude items available here...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/goodygarage/m ... _PrefLoc=1

but they're not based in the UK... They're in California!

Fortunately for me, my best offer on the rad expired over the weekend, but they replied to my follow up message on Monday asking me for shipping addresses etc for a shipping quote. I had asked for discount potential for buying the rad, a set of hoses and two of the radiator brackets they had listed at the time. I'd suggested a price, which would have been a great price, but was also feezable as they had best offers on the two larger items, and free shipping on the largest. Anyway, their price (and considering this is they're best offer prices) came in at a fair bit more than what the ebay asking prices totalled!

I asked them what would have happened had I just bought the radiator for the Buy it now price? (As the listing states VAT is included in the price)... He hasn't dignified that with a response yet

... be weiry.

Our conversation...

Hi there, I've sent you an offer for the this radiator, but pending combatablity with the 97-01 prelude coolant hoses on my '94 Prelude, would you consider accepting £235 for this radiator, a set of the black Misimoto Prelude coolant hoses and 2x the black Misimoto Honda radiator brackets delivered at all? Cheers, Nathan

What is your postal code? Where you looking to buy all the parts? I can give you a total deal + shipping on all the parts.

My delivery postcode will be #### ###. Yes, it turns out the hoses will fit, so it will be the 92-96 radiator, the black 97-01 hoses and two black Honda radiator brackets that suit the S2000. Where are you located out of interest and what would the delivery time be? Cheers, Nathan

I am in California. Can you email me a list of parts you are looking for. I can total up a shipping quote for you.

Hi mate,

I'm after...

1x Mishimoto 92-96 Honda Prelude Aluminium Radiator (Model: MMRAD-BB2-92)
1x Mishimoto 97-01 Honda Prelude Silicone Hoses in Black (Model: MMHOSE-PRE-97-BK)
2x Misimoto Honda Radiator Brackets (Model: MMRS-B)

Do you realise that some of your ebay listing (The ones I was looking at) suggest that you're in Worcestershire in the UK and that it's free postage? ;)

Cheers,

Nathan

Hello Nathan,

1x Mishimoto 92-96 Honda Prelude Aluminium Radiator (Model: MMRAD-BB2-92) $240
1x Mishimoto 97-01 Honda Prelude Silicone Hoses in Black (Model: MMHOSE-PRE-97-BK) $120
2x Misimoto Honda Radiator Brackets (Model: MMRS-B)
2x $ 50
(<--- I don't know if that "2x" should be a "1x" or what. The brackets were listed at £12 each with free p&p)
+ shipping UPS worldwide expedited $200 to your location.

So that works out to be more than if I bought everything through ebay at your asking price? So you don't have a branch in Worchestershire, UK then? (I'm trying to make a point here)

We are in California sir, we do not have another location.

The other option is through Bongo.

http://goodiegarage.bongous.com/ for all international orders. You need to register on here to get a US. Address then Bongo ships to your location.

Yeah I know, but your ebay listings say that you're in Worchestershire, UK and a number of your items including the radiator has free postage. The listing for the radiator is at £180 (inc VAT) delivered to my door in 4 - 5 working days (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320965461211? ... 1423.l2649) That's roughly $285.

If I'd simply bought the radiator on the Buy it now for £180 delivered, would I have received it within 6 working days and not have any import tax or duty to pay?

Let me check the shipping quote for you to your location. We have a shipping company in UK that ships to all UK areas.

Blargh! That's really annoying. I'm looking for a set of rad hoses too, wonder if we have a potential group buy here? I did find no-name ones on ebay from China, and trawled the feedback for them which all came back positive. Question is - at £35 posted is it worth a punt?

If you guys want a group buy see if SFS (Forge Motorsport) will do a group buy discount on them. They're reasonable guys and good products, plus they're only a few mins from me so I'd be happy to pick up and deliver to a show to save postage costs ;)

I had some hoses custom made a few years ago as the cheap ones i originally bought we're jobby. i did end up paying a bit more as i had the jig made at the same time but the quality is second to none and still going strong 3-4 years later. if you want any pics or to find out prices on a set or group buy let me know and ill see what he says.
