It is the 2.3 so maybe they were confused? They are certainly confused about the price

38K miles or not, it is an automatic left hooker.

I think we need to start letting the "2.0/2.3/2.4-Vtec" "4WD" "Type-R" "OEM Turbo" Prelude ads lie. There are always going to be people out there that don't know an awful lot about cars let alone Preludes (We all used to be one), and they probably couldn't really give a jobby either.
If someone posts up a genuine query about an ill informed ad then by all means put them straight, but this could have simply been a typo on the V5 (Lets face it, they make a lot of mistakes), so why would someone not-in-the-know question it?
I however on occasion have pointed out a persons mistake to the person advertising. 50% of the time they are grateful. 40% of the time I've been ignored, and the other 10% have proven entertaining for a jobby debate

I sort-of agree, Nafe.
My life hasn't quite reached the abyss of loneliness required to post body lemonade-poor eBay ads on a Burmese salt-making forum. I do realise though that what I consider worth posting is not always appreciated. Nevertheless, I will continue. So should Drax, I say. I think if you're too stupid to properly advertise what you're trying to sell, yer gunna get it. It's really not that difficult to have a quick look on the internet. The seller has either looked at other Preludes out there to come up with the price, at which point you might question why there are no other 2.4s out there and wonder if they are worth more, prompting further research. Or they've just slapped an arbitrary price on it. Either one is unacceptable and if a prospective buyer comes across this thread they may be saved from being misled.
That's how I see it anyway. I imagine most will think I'm trying to be edgy for the sake of it, though.

I appreciate what you're saying as well, and I do hope I don't offend you Drax (I do like you after all

), but I'd say it'd be time better spent attempting to inform the seller of their mistake.
The world is full of people who don't know how to research after all. I'm forever watching ebay ads where a seller has listed one brand new item for a buy it now price and has another listing running at the exact same time for the exact same brand new item but in an auction listing... It's unbelieveable how many times the auction listing goes for
more than the buy it now item! (Including delivery!) Now that really chaps my wick!!!
