They've broken it then? Or just removing a few bits and then selling as standard?

Apparently the car (as they had it) was never road legal or even safe to drive. So yeah he's breaking it. He's offered me the wheels as well, but they're not quite what I'm after. He has a few other bits and bobs, so I may have to have a rummage ;)
