Complete ATR head with A7 Cams. Fits 4th&5th

Post by vanzep » Mon Oct 03, 2016 5:55 pm

Complete ATR H22A7 Head with cams in place and head gasket.
Decent upgrade for 4th or 5th Gen.
The H22A7 head also benefits from having sprung lmas and more aggressive cams;)
The head is spotless and mileage i was told was around 98K
Dont think you will find one in better condition.
Will get more/better pics asap

Price - £TBA collection only from Edinburgh is welcome.

Technical question..now my ATR has a leaky exhaust valve and a top end rebuild is on the cards. At the moment the cars just suffers from a lumpy idle, so I've been holding off until it is really necessary.

Will it be cheaper option for me to buy this (assuming all is good with the engine) and get Rich at PA to swap the heads over or to get mine rebuilt by PA.

My only reserve is better the devil you know, but a rebuild ain't cheap so if a swap saves me a substantial amount of money then it may well be something I'm interested in.

The time it takes isn't so much an issue as I've the Civic and the Odyssey, so it is more of a cost thing.

I've no idea how much it is likely to cost to swap heads, but if it means I can upgrade some bits (as to which I don't know) and still be quids in then it has to be the right thing.

Does Rich still post here? If so, how do I tag him?
