For Sale: 4 x Genuine Mugen MF8 - 16" 7J +52 4x114.3 - £850

Post by braziers » Sat Feb 14, 2015 3:02 pm

Posting these on behalf of my bro, thought some of you 4 studders might be interested!

Description: Up for sale are my Genuine Mugen MF8's.
I had these imported in 2013 from Japan in their original Bronze finish. When they arrived, the finish was stained under the clearcoat from years of neglect, so I had them professionally refinished. They were blasted and then powdercoated in a high-flake Silver finish, which is the closest I could get to match the other original finish that MF8's came in. The finish is brilliant, and for a wheel which is around 17 years old, they look like new.
The centre caps have been refinished in blue to match the original finish.
All 4 tyres and Yokohama S.Drives (215/40 R16). All have between 6-7mm of tread so loads left. Great tyres, not a cheap budget set!
There are a couple of minor stone chip marks on a couple of the wheels which I have touched up with a paint matched pen, they are hardly noticeable unless your really looking for them, anyone that has seen these in person can vouch for how good they look!
I had these on my DC2 and they looked awesome. Reluctant sale, but after owning the DC2 for a few years now, I have bought another car, which these will not fit, so they have to make way for some that do!

Condition: 9.5/10

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Price: £850 collected.

I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

They would look good on a dc2... Maybe a 4th gen... But def not on a 5th gen... Unless it was fully riced.

And they are very expensive. That's why nobody here really does Mugen Wheels. Good luck with the sale. Ebay maybe a better route I would suggest.

Riced? These are hardly ricer

They're originally 4th gen 'lude fitment, so would suit one perfectly. Looked good on the DC2.
Personally they'd be too small on a 5th gen but you never know.

These aren't priced high either.

I say the price is about right, for a set of good condition rare wheels, with good tyres on.
