5G De-Cat

Post by nitin_s1 » Thu Nov 14, 2013 1:37 pm

I bought this from Pete (106Pete).

Great quality and great welding.

It was for my Type-S but I think it will fit on most 5G (or JDM cars).

It's 2.5" in diameter.

Just like to add.

The only reason I'm selling is because I will be getting a full exhaust done through Solid-Fab. :)

I would measure it again as LG sources say the Type-S decat is 25.5 and a regular JDM decat is 26.5 ;) In the pic above it it looks like it would be 25.5.

There's 2 angles on the flanges so not easy to give a exact measurement, these were a exact copy of the 4g jdm cat and fitted quite reasonably to a type s, the main difference being the mani has more angle but didn't prove to be an issue.
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

Yes. Different flanges so hard to measure it.

But good news is that this will fit a 4G JDM perfect.

If u think 5 to 10 mm in length will affect what its doing or how its going to fit u need to give your head a shake hahaha he has done a good job on that so y complain ? If the flanges are in the correct place jobs a good one :)

If only everything worked under the same theory. I'm sure your Mrs would appreciate it if you had an extra 5-10mm.
