any one able to tell me if this will fit my H22A5 BB8? and as mine is tiptrionic will i still have the 'manual' control?

Don't think the 4th boxes fit the 5th. When we swapped my auto box we took the engine out. Made life a lot easier.

thats not good news lol
the problem i have is its my only car and with work quite a drive away i need the car on the road at most off for 2 days

it will fit but looks like a 4g box and if it is it might not be compatible with the tcu

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the traction control was sorted out by the ECU rather than the gearbox (fourth plug on ECU).. but I do believe you need an LSD 'box for it to work properly.

i think i might of got the wrong end of this, i thought by tcu he ment the tiptronic control unit

Actually mate, I think you're right and I'm wrongly reading Traction Control Unit.
