advice needed...

Post by 91pREluDe » Mon Jul 15, 2013 6:15 pm

hi Guys

Just got back last night from the great weekend in cornwall with my 3rd gen and having some problems...
First of all heard a couple bangs under the bonet, looks like my air filter dismounted from the box... (its wobling in there)
Second, but not the last :? had some sqeeking in my left wheel and that scared my girlfriend. it was louder when i turn to the right, stopped and checked everything was ok... eventually it stopped (reckon i had a stone stuck somewhere)
Last just spotted this today my cluch pedal is nearly next to the floor and its very hard to change gears... is that oil needed in the gearbox or WTF?

THANKS A LOT

You can check it in you clutch reservoir isn't it ?
Next to the brake reservoir in your bay ?

Check the height (is it full enough) and color (is it bright enough, not tar black for instance).

Have a feel around the drivers footwell, up behind the pedals and see if the carpet is wet.
