What amount of power do you have in mind?

Nice low torque, but less bhp than a built H22 because of limited max rpm (due to piston speed).

With a decent H22 build you should see 150+ lb/ft from 3,000 rpm, which is more than what a standard H22 makes peak 8-)

My build with 10:1 compression on the a5 bottom end with ATR cams, head & inlet gave this;

Think it's got more torque lower down than some of the ones with aggressive cams and more peak power

Which ever is in better shape.

Check both engine cylinders on the FRM lining which ever is in better shape use that

I have 2 sets of H22A7/A8 cams if you need any ;)

a7/a8 cams would be a good call, don't think standard a2/a5 cams will get you very far.
