Lude Generation

Wondered if anyone has had this before...
When i put my foot down mainly in first and second gear the handbrake light will come on. seems really weird to me does this light double up as an engine warning light?
I'm really confused and a bit worried.

Can anyone tell me what this is!?

The (!) light? It doubles as a 'brake fluid low' light. Check your brake fluid level.

Yes the most likely cause. If it is low top up and keep an eye on it for a bit incase its slowly leaking somewhere.

I'm going to go out an check it now.
I was going to change the front pads and disc the weekend so i think i will check the whole system over.
I'm glad it's not related to the engine!
