As I understand it:
4G & 5G are compatible, but only if they're either all UKDM parts or all JDM parts.
4G & 5G are interchangeable between DM's from after the cat, so I think you could have a UK mani/downpipe/cat, and then the rest JDM or vice versa.
TypeS and 99+ (H22A8) exhausts are different again and are just bastardishly awkward
I'd maybe wait for someone else to verify this though before you spend any money or try anything.

the 4th gen downpipe and manifold are interchangeable, but you may have to elongate the cat bolt holes slightly so it mates to the cat properly. Not sure if you can mix UK and JDM downpipe/manifold combo?
The cat and centre section have to go together as a pair, either all JDM or all UK.
Any backbox will fit, UK or JDM.

No, I suggested I was not sure if you can mix the manifold and downpipe combo.
Though I think you're confused with the CAT comment, the CAT's are different lengths, but the difference is made up with the centre section, that's why they have to be fitted as a pair. The JDM CAT is 4 inches shorter, and the mid section is 4 inches longer to compensate for this.
The UK mani + downpipe will be the same length as the JDM counterpart. What I'm not sure of is if the joint between the two is in the same place and so not entirely sure if you can have a JDM manifold and UK downpipe (or vice versa). I suspect that it would probably be OK though.

Ahh I see what you're saying
I have no idea I was just hoping to correctly regurgitate stuff I'd read
What you're saying about the JDM and UK mani/dp being the same overall sounds sensible, but with the join in different places (as I'm almost certain it is) then one part is going to be longer than it's market counterpart. So if you have a long mani/short dp and mix it up with a short mani/long dp, you're going to end up with two long parts stuck together and two short bits stuck together, meaning it wont fit?
I hope that makes sense
