Help identifing part....

I need help identifing a part but I can't find a good picture of it. Its located underneath the distributor and seems to be attached to the top of the gearbox, it has a tube sticking up with a rubber cap on the end?

It is not just a breather from the gearbox? The black rubber cap is like the cap off a felt tip pen?

That's what I was on about, my car is sorn and hasn't been driven in 3 months, this whole part is wet on top like it's leaking
