Took aircon out and put shorter belt on now it making a rubbing noise. think its the other belt power stering one. plus the fluid is bubbeling when u look inthe tank. chould it be to tight the belt

If the fluid is bubbling you usually have too little fluid or a leak letting air in. Not sure a tight belt would cause that.

Could well do man, your bearings will also be in great pain. Any adjustment on the tension left?

Quarter turn is right man. Not good then, could even be the PS pump. Can you get a screwdriver on it and have a listen

Bubbling PS fluid is perfectly normal.

I assumed we were talking air bubbles? That should never happen, although some flow and movement is normal.

Both my Ludes bubble PS fluid :? Could it be heat dependent? TBH I have only ever taken time to notice this when my bonnet is up whilst at the track. Never needed to have my bonnet up while the engine is running at any other time.

If it were foaming I would be concered. But probably best to investigate further.
